Terms of Service

The Service

vibecodii provides educational content, a tools directory, prompts, and challenges for learning AI-assisted software development. We do not guarantee employment, income, or specific learning outcomes.

Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old and able to form a binding contract. If you use the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent authority to bind that organization.

Accounts

• Accounts are managed through Clerk (email or Google OAuth)

• You are responsible for your account security

• You must provide accurate information

• We may suspend accounts for abuse, fraud, or violation of these Terms

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Violate laws or third-party rights

• Upload malware, spam, or abusive content (including in challenge prompts)

• Scrape the Service at scale without written permission

• Circumvent rate limits or security

• Impersonate others or misrepresent affiliation with vibecodii

• Use the Service to generate illegal content or harass others

Intellectual property

vibecodii content (lessons, Codii character, branding) is owned by us or licensors. You receive a limited, non-exclusive license to access content for personal learning.

You retain rights to prompts you submit. You grant us a worldwide, royalty-free license to store, display, and use submissions to operate the Service (including AI evaluation in v1.5).

AI tools and third parties

Lessons may reference third-party tools (Cursor, Claude, etc.). We are not responsible for third-party terms, pricing, or availability.

Challenges and scoring

• v1.0 may use self-assessment or manual scoring

• v1.5+ may use automated AI scoring; scores are educational, not professional certification

• We may change rubrics or challenge content at any time

Paid features (v2.0)

Paid subscriptions will be governed by additional terms shown at checkout (Stripe). Refunds as stated at purchase.

Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. WE DISCLAIM IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE ARE NOT LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL.

OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING FROM THE SERVICE IS LIMITED TO THE GREATER OF (A) AMOUNTS YOU PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM OR (B) USD $100.

Termination

You may stop using the Service anytime. You may delete your account via settings or contact us. We may terminate or suspend access for breach or operational reasons.

Changes

We may modify these Terms. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance. Material changes will be notified reasonably in advance.
